Just checked the weather forecast for the meet. Looks like light rain throughout. Sun peeking through the clouds briefly, from saturday afternoon onward.

I only have one thing to say about that...

A wheel barrow may be useful for the coastal path route, but not the beach route. I was going to bring my folding camp barrow (made from old wheelbarrow frame), if I can get it finished in time. Would also be useful for bevvie logistics too :)

Looks like I have got a lacky to attend the barn sale on my behalf, but I can still stop another day or so. I'll have to stock up on citronella garden torches, and maybe bring a couple more sandbags for seating :D

Might not be able to make this one. Have a barn sale to go to. Not sure if it's the Saturday or the Sunday though, so might be able to come for the Friday-Saturday, or maybe Sunday-Monday, if anyone else is stopping out for the Monday. Will have to check and let you know.

I recently picked up an old Kent pattern axe, at a flea market, and it has a what I assume is a makers mark, that looks a lot like the old Armitage Shanks monogram (AS) with the word England underneath. Any ideas on a maker, or if it was just...
