    Sold Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack

MaxP Jumbo Versipack, designed as an overhead shoulder sling bag featuring loads of pockets and a waist strap. Was orange/grey and has been RIT dyed black. The dye did a fantastic job, creating lovely black plastic hardware and a pretty much brand new looking bag. However, the point of...

    What has happened to Etsy?

I used Folksy after discovering Buds Beanies. Think I've one in each colour and bought several for friends. It's a good site, though small and limited to, well, folksy type stuff. Lot of it for women, pretty things, jumpers etc. Must go and have another look.

    What has happened to Etsy?

Bought an Indian tiffin from there a few weeks ago and it’s still not here. Nowhere on their page does is say it’s being sent from an Indian warehouse. There are also a lot of Aliexpress type shops popping up on Etsy, selling the Aliexpress $2 stuff for $10. EBay used to be an auction site...

    UK Homemade rat pack

Boring, take a packed lunch. Sandwiches, crisps, Penguin, apple, keeps people going all day every day in a hard working outdoor life. I want a shirt made from a duvet cover :)

    Swiss Eagle Knife

Looking at the storefront, the whole Amazon shop is fake. Nothing is for sale except the knock-off. Aliexpress have stopped selling knives to the UK and Europe, so it's likely this sort of thing will become more prevalent.

    Swiss Eagle Knife

Try the loupe on a clone :rolleyes2:

    Swiss Eagle Knife

A nefarious copy, deffo a Champ clone made from tinpot steel in China. It's the standard Champ clone you can see in various comparison videos, but with a Swiss Eagle logo added. All the Vic stuff is made and assembled in Switzerland, despite some confusion a while back about the silver box...

Cheers, yeah it's a good tool. I've always felt I should keep it, maybe I should?

    Withdrawn Swisstool Spirit pliers Multitool

A bump for this multitool. The glow ring is long gone, but I have a spare orange pop out pen that I can bung in. Still at £65 Inc Age Verified posting and PayPal fees. Not really up for trades or offers, thanks.

    News sources

That video isn't what was asked in the OP, and I think pushing your favourite news opinion onto the forum is out of order. Precisely why I avoid in depth world news and politics, and here it is.

    Really good budget clothing

@Broch mentioned shooting shops. I find reasonably priced gear in the farm supplies places. The sorts of places you can get a length of water pipe, a roll of wire, or a new coat. They all seem to stock Hoggs, Ridgeline etc. Ridgeline is designed specifically for shepherds and not cheap, but that...

    Kidney stones

Ouch. It’d be rude to recommend Birch sap, ;) hope you either pass them or it passes quickly. Loathe to make any medical recommendations but my personal experience with Naproxen resulted in a painful and gripy tummy, make sure you’ve eaten because they’re not kind to the stomach.

    Trail Cam Recommendations

Just done a lot of research to get one for my mum. Needed to be simple, and also she wanted to view the pics and vides on her phone without having to extract a tiny SD card. Plus she can keep an eye on battery levels too. Whether data enabled or not I ended up with Browning, Zeiss, Spypoint...

Lanterns: Can anyone recommend an LED rechargeable lantern?

Sofirn are having a 55% off sale, brings the LT1S down to £26. Lots of bargains, the little SC13 with Nichia emitters are £7.50, HS21 headlight is £24. Superb spot/flood/red headlamp with gesture control. The clip lights are getting good reviews too, ST10 I think...

    Birch Sap

Very pure, many nutrients, minerals and vitamins. Calling it sugar water is like comparing iceberg lettuce juice to kale juice.

    Rats

CO2 would be comparable to drowning. Carbon Monoxide is used though.

Butser Ancient Farm coppicers event 11th & 12th July

Just had this sent via Sussex and Surrey Coppicing Group if anyone's interested. Camping free for demonstrators and lots of stuff going on. I'll get a few more details, the picture is all I have. Coppicers, tech and WhatsApp are generally at odds with each other. There was a 20 minute voice...

    What's your go-to Spyderco?

My very old Tenacious has a decent detent, but I still have the blade screw tight enough it has to be fully pushed open with my thumb. Found my Delica!

    What's your go-to Spyderco?

Haven’t heard from Ben Xavierdoc in ages, he stopped posting here and another forum. He likes the Resilience, but he did a gralloch with a UKPK once too. It’s a good knife, but maybe it was just mine that had a loose detent, I cut myself once putting my hand in my pocket after jumping a stream...
