We have been using the Rough Close for Bushcraft meets for many years and more recently for our Retro / Steamtent camps. I understand people’s nostalgic attachment to MM but I genuinely think people will love the new site.

Much the same as my feelings. Any fool can be uncomfortable and life is too short for ugly kit. Canvas time for me is about comfort and enjoyment these days.

With due respect I use pots on cooking fires, not infernal conflagrations. 660 degrees is far too hot for cooking. :-D
