Last weekend we did a small cycle and camping trip. We cycled to a village called Kipfenberg which is about 30km away. It was over 30 degrees in the shade so we made plenty of breaks to rehydrate.
There was some wonderful views along the way including several Poppy fields...
Sorry I didn't catch this thread earlier, I live in a town called Eichstätt which is about 108km from Munich. I don't have the time to come down to Munich but if you fancy a trip up here its about one and a half to two hours on the train. We have some nice walks on the hills and its an...

I have just been reading red's images from Hampshire thread and I can only see the first half of the page, the rest of the page just gets cut off and is plane white:confused:
Has anybody else got this problem or is it just...

I'm going to have another hunt on the internet tonight (my girlfriend is getting fed up of my pondering over rucksacks so I have been ordered to buy one.....just which?)
I'll let you know what I find ;)
Andy
I have just been looking there but I'm not sure about the quality of some of the rucksacks. I'm looking at spending up to 100 and would like to get a good solid pack for my money. I also suffer from back pain so it also has to have a good back system.
cheers
Andy
I need a rucksack for my coming trip to Sweden. Now I cant seem to find any decent rucksacks that cost under 150 so I'm thinking of importing a highlander forces 66 from England. I have read quite allot of good things about these rucksacks but I would like to know one thing before I commit...

My sak lives in my pocket.......unless I'm not allowed to have it there like in an aeroplane. Is it such a bad thing carrying around something to aid your daily cutting tasks or should I replace it with child safety scissors? :nono:
with great difficulty ;)
I used a needle file to make the groove and after I had glued it all together the tweezers and the tooth pick didn't fit  so I modified them both (I made them thinner) and now they have more than enough friction to hold them in place but are still usable...
I stand corrected (I actually stood up to write that :lmao: )
Apparently rubber wood is one of the most ecologically friendly woods in the world.

He's well chuffed. I used an old chopping board for the scales so I think they could be sycamore or beech. I put a nice leather lanyard on it with a four strand round braid.
Cheers for looking
Andy
when I need a good multi tool then I take my wave with me, my sak is always in my pocket so that comes along too. It all depends on what I'm doing and where
The last time I read this thread I ended up buying my second sak. I bought a small classic one with black scales which I then re scaled with beech. I also have an old Huntsman (I think) that was my first ever real knife (I got a cheap copy sak before that and never used it because......well it...
