car cleaned out & packed(ish) yesterday - not arriving until Thursday, but working lates today and tomorrow, and didn't want a massive rush Wednesday evening.
Keen is on... Bushcrafterbirds are GO!
Me!
I'm hoping to turn up somtime Thursday evening, straight from Scout camp in Hemel Hempstead, and staying unyil Sunday. Unfortunately I couldn't get any time off the following week.
There *might* be some storytelling from me if Im there....
First off - a great big thanks (again) to all who helped me deal with a potentially serious tyre problem on Wednesday morning as I was looking to leave; I would have been in a much worse position without all you aid.
Thanks to Tony and the Mods for organising the whole thing and keeping things...
My plan is to be at the moot from Thursday to Tuesday/Wed - and it's a definate plan as well!

I couldn't stay away forever!
Hiya John And Mary. Life's been... interesting these last few years, and due to Scout troop commitments I haven't been able to make it to many of the Bushmoots. But Still... nice to be back!
Heya folks
I'm hoping to make it for the first time in 3 years or so... Friday to Tuesday/Wednesday.
Tony - I tried to PM you but your box is full (heh - some things never change...)
All the best, and hope to see folks there!
John
The only one I didn't really like was the meatballs one; other than that they benefit (as already said) from bulking up. I've put a bag of quickcook rice in the water that's cooking the LWWF, and I empty the rice in when it's all heated through.
I was wondering that as well: it could solve the old problem I have with my Hennesy - ensuring enough insulation below without it falling out through the exit.
