Few recent DIY projects (quite pics heavy)

Another few months has passed :D, during which I had a hell of the work at the office. Back then I had so few days in the woods, and so little time to work on my DIY projects. Any way. Things got better in September, and I had some time to finish two of my WIP's. Elderberry spoon. Boiled in the...

OK. Few months have passed, and I have to admit, that not too much of the time I had for my projects. But I managed to finish some miscellaneous items: Miniature kuksa. Too small for a cup of tea, but large enough for a shot of good scotch :D Carved out of birch burl. After several months of...

Another spork just finished. This time carved out of damson wood. Fork part, same as in previous spork, is made of horn as well. More photos, you will find here: https://picasaweb.google.com/115893634537782695710/DUbanina#

    30kg's of horn, ideas?

Forks, bushcraft jewelry, combs... Shoe spoons? This suppose to be a soup spoon, but.. well... my dear wife, decided that it will serve better as a shoes spoon in her wardrobe

Another kuksa finished. Again... far from perfection. Or at least from what I was intending to achieve. The biggest flaw, is the oval hole in the antler. Result of accident during the drilling. Should have taken second attempt, but I was racing with the time. In two days I'm heading for 4 days...

Gosh! How come, I missed notification about your message? I have no idea. I'm sorry for late reply. Seems that ground mail from Havana would arrive faster, then my reply. Things are fine with me. Been busy lately with few DIY projects, and participated in few Reconnect gatherings. I'm stucked...

    Leather covers for canoe paddles

Hi all I have seen one of those, use by friends of mine from kanu.com.pl. Decided to make a set for myself, to protect paddles blades during storage and transportation. Not a fancy job. I used raw cheap leather, and oiled it with linseed oil. I hope, you like it BTW: before, I started...
