Fujifilm FinePix S2750 12MP Digital Bridge Camera - any opinions?

Hi Minotaur, I'm not sure how useful I can be here but fwiw, if your budget goes this far, I recommend this Olympus Pen. which I have. http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/21693_pen-camera_e-p1_21723.htm It fits in your pocket, meaning you can have it with you all the time, which I do...

Viking open weekend - Cranborne Dorset

I have just arranged to go camping on this very weekend and was wondering where to go but this event looks perfect! I'd need to provide some creature comforts for a 5 year old and his mum so if I can find a campsite with a shower (for them) and permission to light a fire (for me) I might well...

    Safety: Fuel for MSR Whisperlight?

The manual for my MSR Whisperlight says to use 'white gas' (which I assume means 'white petrol') or naphtha. The only warning it gives is: don't use leaded fuels. I checked Coleman fuel today (which is what I've used in it previously) in my local camping shop and it's £7.00 per litre!!! Anyone...

The oldest known coast redwood...

    Alternative to Brasher Lithium?

I had set my sights on a pair of Brasher Lithium boots, http://www.brasher.co.uk/catalogue/products/lithium-gtx-r-lithiummn ... having researched them on-line and found only good reviews, but I got my hands on a pair for the first time today in F&T and was very disappointed. The uppers...
