thats true because balsa is a very fast growing hardwood and oak grows slowly but is vary hard to cut. it all depends on the distance between the grain or growth rings.

i tryed making a short bow out of birch "i think" and i got the same little ripples and a little drop in power but there wasen't much flexiblity or pwer to start with how would i improove this stovie or anyone?

what it basicly is a set of plastic trays that are creased so that they fold into, cups, mugs, plates and bowls.

ive been making my own bows for a while now and have found that you tend to need a arm gaurd the hard way. So I had a go at making one myself out of leather... It proply fell apart, can anyone help me?

I got a mouse with one, although i was aiming for a different target. when you get used to them the are acctually quite effective, the secrect is to not use all your power as the force can divert it slightly.
