    Those are some nice steels! I made one with a bit of scrap o1 tool stell from my knife project. It gave a nice shower of sparks but I haven't made any char cloth yet! But thosse steels are works of art! When I make my forge those are going to be my aim. You lot are lucky to own those great...

    Wow thanks! I saw Ray Mears do this on telly (I think it was in Belaraus)and I alwayswanted a bit more info on the subject. I'll just look for a fallen birch in the wood's or down the field. Once again thanks!
