Could have picked somewhere with places to park. :p I should be able to make it. I doubt I'll be able to make it fortnightly though, perhaps if one of the meets was just to have a mooch around a woodland and the other could be the pub.
In my opinion it should be setup to how you like it, I don't think there is a 1 size fits all with hammocks. People are different sizes and shapes, so every setup will be different.

Always tied and using tensioners from Helsport. I do know the knots if need be though. I've just gotten into using tarps so only time will tell if it stays that way but I prefer it at the moment.
I'll certainly look into whoopie slings then because from what I understand its not a permanent mod and it can be changed back. The tarp ridge line is using prusik loops using 2mm accessory cord either side to make it taught, I thought the 2mm might be too thin but it works great on the 5mm...

I love my Princeton Tec Apex Pro It's by far the best headlight out in terms of battery life and output. It is however quite expensive too. 5 modes of output and a battery life indicator.
