    Preston Bushcraft Group?

Could have picked somewhere with places to park. :p I should be able to make it. I doubt I'll be able to make it fortnightly though, perhaps if one of the meets was just to have a mooch around a woodland and the other could be the pub.

    A couple of hammock questions

In my opinion it should be setup to how you like it, I don't think there is a 1 size fits all with hammocks. People are different sizes and shapes, so every setup will be different. Tarps, are yours pre-rigged with guylines or not?

Always tied and using tensioners from Helsport. I do know the knots if need be though. I've just gotten into using tarps so only time will tell if it stays that way but I prefer it at the moment.

I have promised myself I would get back into Bushcraft this year and go for some overnighters and the choice was bivi or hammock. Not wanting to be eaten alive by all the creapy crawlies I chose the hammock option. I'm using a DD Travel Hammock and a Tatonka Tarp 2, I've modified the tarp guy...

    Zebralight - the best head-light?

I love my Princeton Tec Apex Pro It's by far the best headlight out in terms of battery life and output. It is however quite expensive too. 5 modes of output and a battery life indicator. Low flood High flood Low spot High spot Slow flash http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/pt_apex.htm...

I'll pop into town tomorrow and see if they have any. I use lundhags merino ones at the moment. Which performed very well in the minus temp range.
