Anyone done the 3 peaks challenge on their own?

I did it this year with someone doing the driving. I would say it would be much safer with the support of a driver. I didn't get much, if any, sleep between peaks and by the end was completely shattered, completely! i would say that after Scafell Pike (did Nevis first, Snowdon last) I would...

    *More* snow!

About six inches here and people are struggling on the hills on way to locks school both on foot and in cars! Threw the two year old in sledge and went to pick the 5 year old up! Less hassle for me and more fun for the kids :)

    When is expensive, too expensive?

If the cost of something makes you think twice about using something then it's too expensive :)

Apparently even if it's advertised at that price shops don't have to honour it! Makes that catch all the sweeter!

    Comrie Croft meet up?

I have little outdoors kit, no skills (I can teach anyone interested to man knit) but a fair few knives! As long as there is vodka to keep me warm I think my lack of decent kit wouldn't be too much of an issue! Shift permitting and swmbo not going off on one I could be interested :)
