This is what happened to my brother when he baton a log on the this yrs moot
with his British army heavy duty machete .

After i took the pic, the batteries went flat in the camera. so i took this one when i got home.

except that that is not a british army machete! it's a sort of miniature copy. a not very good miniature by the looks of it.

There are more MOD machete knockoffs doing the rounds than the real thing. Failure in those is quite common. With the issue version, failure is unheard of, and for good reason. The MOD does not like being sued, and their suppliers don't wish to loose such a lucrative contract because of said actions.

Where can you buy the MOD one's? I fancy one but couldnt spot a copy.
 
i recently done a sheath for a mod survival knife, and there is no way that would happen with the real mccoy, you could drive a tank over one of those, it was bomb proof.
