Going through some boxes tonight I've found my old Transformers toys from back in the 80's

Both Optimus Prime (missing the trailer but I think I might know where it is) and Megatron, anybody know if they might be worth anything?

They're going to the charity shop at the weekend if not

Probably classed as too dangerous for those places with H&S in force big time.

I sold Emmas Thundercats last year for a whopping £150 on Ebay. I kept her Action Men.

Check this one, £40 in a battered box with bits missing, going to start buying some for Stephen he loves them, it was nearly endex for the neighbours kid when wouldn't let him have a look at his bumble bee model!

Yeah ! Nyaminyami(sp) its it gonna be the next tattoo I get(which will make two). its for Wifely who's family is Rhodesian. She grew up next to the Kariba dam, really want a time line tat of things so far in my life that have mattered to me but I think it would be to expensive at the moment, the wolf head you did yesterday was ace! Nice and clean. Cool. .

You had Megatron? You're soooo cool!! Reminds me I've got Skyscream and ... ehm ... dunno what his name is ... white-ish car, Autobot IIRC ... A friend of mine (primary school) had them all, including the green Decepticons (bulldozer, truck, etc) that made one big robot.

The original Megatron turned into a Walther P38. The irony is, it is actually illegal to sell him on now as his transformed state is a replica pistol and falls foul of the VCR Act of 2008.

originals always do.
i had some shipped in from china when my son wanted transformers the other year, he was bonkers on em. got him a soundwave with ravage and laserbeak and loads of Gen 1 re-issues.
cost the earth but his face christmas day was brilliant.
