bonzodog - can you confirm the material of these shirts. They look like a great bargin but the ebay ad says they are nylon whilst the 5.11 site says they should be poly cotton.

They do look like the real deal though. Here's hoping!!

Looks like these ones are nylon. I use the cotton canvas ones with elbow inserts - they are the dogs danglies. Not sure about a nylon shirt myself?

They look like the predecessor to the TacLite Pro, so I think they'll be genuine 5.11 but discontinued stock. Looks like a decent buy.

I'm not 100% sure, I've a couple in my wardrobe somewhere. I think they're poly cotton though.

poly cotton would be ok, but 100% nylon might be a little uncomfortable in the warmer weather. It says that it is 'wicking' though.

A quick google search shows they are made from Dritex material which is manufactured from 100% nylon by Faytex corp. There is no mention of cotton in the faytex product description. On a plus note, the material is designed to be really abrasion resistant so the shirts should be hard wearing.

Dritex is the material used at the back where the vent is. It's a wicking mesh.
It really does look like the rest of the shirt is nylon though.

I would have like a couple as I llike my canvas ones, but I have frightening memories of the traumas suffered as a younger man with nylon sheets

I am still traumatised by the memory of bri-nylon shirts worn at school. I had a mother that hated ironing, so I suffered nylon collar chafing throughout my primary years.

Arrived today. Genuine article - had a pull of the seams, etc, and looks tough as old boots. Will go in wash and might wear this weekend.

Will also ensure I shuffle across pile carpet in order to build up lethal static voltages. Will then touch the dog's tail and see what happens.

The Ebay says 72158 and fabric - nylon ripstop....
I cannot find this shirt on the 5.11 website....
