Woodland Brew Up

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
got a honey stove myself, and can honestly say it was the best BC bit of kit I got my hands on last year! it goes from crafty brew on a 4 sided Trangia set up or a a full six sides and some twigs- I'll be buying a Hive kit for mine before the summer :D

I always tend o use it in hexagonal set up and burn twigs in mine. Love the fact that they flat pack too. My top and bottom plates have warped very slightly which makes putting it together a little more challenging but overall not too bad. I have just got hold of a Bushbuddy Ultra and an Antig Outdoors Woodlore Stove - so dont know if my preference will change.....?

I just got the honeystove and hive - yet to use it in anger but posted up some photos if anyone is interested in seing how it works. The hive doesn't come with a pot stand but you'll see in the photos tentpegs make a decent substitute.
