He was extremely uncomfortable filming that... if anyone has ever met RM, you will see by miles how uncomfortable he was, it's quite funny.

He travels far and wide and has eaten things that would make a billy goat puke,

Clearly he's never had them done properly, steamed to perfection still has bite to it and lovely and sweet tasting.
how can people NOT like sprouts?

okay boiled to death for 3 hours (one of my mother in law's does them this way) they're insipid mush...

Oh dear.
Did he really go on Ready Steady Cook!?
What with his recent Survival series aiming itself at the dumbed-down mass-appeal audience, it looks like HRH Ray Mears is starting to slot himself into the wally-celebrity end of the market. It'll be Alan Titchmarsh next, then a judge on Celebrity Something...
 :naughty:

Sprouts are great if cooked well. My 10 year old may be picky (she doesn't even eat baked beans) but she loves sprouts and would eat them till they come out of her ears.
I'd better not tell her that Ray doesn't eat sprouts though. Otherwise next time we moan about her being a picky eater she'll happily retort that she is more adventurous than Ray Mears. LOL

'One' of your mother in laws? :)

Unfortunately so, i have the curse of having two.
SWMBO's parents are both divorced and re-married so i have a mother in law and a step-mother in law or something...
Chrisj: my eldest loves sprouts too youngest won't go near the kitchen if they're being cooked... but then he's the fussiest eater ever, i reckon he'll be on that tv show when he's older.
