Help finding coloured Fenix Filters

Im on the prowl for coloured filters that would fit my Fenix torches (PD20, LD10, LD20)
they have 21.5mm diameter bezel. I already own fenix's own made red filter but am looking for other colours.


I have looked at the major manufaturers like surefire but theirs have much bigger diametersand consequently dont fit my torches.

Can anyone help?

I've looked all over and not found any. I suppose you could make your own from the coloured gel sheets used in theatre lights.

Or just get one of these new Quarks from 4Sevens.

I don't think there are any commercially made ones. You could try using some coloured plastic and finding a way of attaching it to the front.

What, if you don't mind me asking, would other colours be useful for?

I also have the red filter which is very handy, in fact I was using it just this evening while out but I wish the fit was just a bit tighter.

Amber / blue filters are suppost to be good at cutting through misty/foggy conditions. I do alot of hill walking in the lake district, so I will be able to test the theory out soon enough as the the weather tends to be like that alot at this time of year.

I have a blue filter for my maglite so the blue can be tested straight away but will have to wait little longer to test amber filter

That's true about amber. In fact I do have an amber Maglite filter but the Mag is so dim that it doesn't do much.

When I was doing a lot of driving for a living I wore amber glasses when driving in the fog and they cut through the mist quite a bit. It's one of those things that I didn't think would work until I tried it.

Sunglasses, not too dark, will also cut through mist during the day to some extent.

Perhaps amber driving glasses would work for you.
