I go through a lot of knives but every once in a while one really stands out.

I am utterly in love with damascus blades and intensely envious of anyone who has one.
Wish I could afford one, or even justify the expense.
Gorgeous.

That's lovely, it's like psychadelic raindrop damascus  Probably closest to random I'm seen - and looks amazing! The choice of handle materials is great, and the finish is awesome too!

OK post up a piccy in a couple of months. After youve made a few things wiv it... An resharp'nd it a few times........

I don't really undersatnd what your point is here, are you doubting the integrity of the knife ? or that i would use a custom knife ?

I don't know if it will be used, i bought it to make a sheath for it and to see an example of the work by the makers involved .
The knife is made by 2 fantastic makers and is certainly as capable as any other traditional scandi knife, it's not a "monkey dama blade" from Pakistan.
The only reason i may not use it is that I'm trying to use knives i have made myself these days , my other custom knives are not being used for the same reason but i have used damascus knives in the past, most used was a damascus Woodlore from Alan Wood.
I'm not afraid to use nice or expensive knives, they are all tools as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Rapidboy......

Are you actually going to use it?

MadRat, give it a rest. At this point you are on the edge of being a troll. Which means, if you continue down this path, you will have to troll somewhere else. And, I'm not going to argue this point with you.
