Not popular at all. Countryside beatiful but most of right places are National Parks so not easy to camp and impossible to use fire. Hard life for Bushcrafters in Italy..but we hardly try!

Tks for warm welcome to everybody

welcome to the forum.

Any idea where you can wild camp in Italy?

Legally, nearly impossible. Italian laws against nomads are becoming very restricted. National Parks (most of wild areas) are prohibited to camp..but as many italian laws are difficult to be respected, everyone does everything so...camp wherever you like but not for long time (that's the real meaning). Anyway if you want to camp should not have any problem especially if you advice the Park guard office, don't use open fire and don't cut trees.
If you need help in Sibillini Park i have suggestions.
I hope is usefull.
