Chris enjoyed himself so much he even wants to come again in December ... it does though depend on which weekend his Explorer unit get allocated for bagpacking at Sainsbury's - they are saving for a 12 man tentipi (yep it's a Scout thing!)

Is it something Decorum could look into ahead of time? If the site management are doing any maintenance in the wooded areas, they may be willing to set aside some suitable wood, especially if we undertake to chop it up? That way we're not limited to the stuff we can find on Pitch 11 (there's another 40-odd acres to choose from) - I'm up there next weekend, and Decorum is there a fair bit, so we could always arrange to drag some stuff into the wood store on 11 the week before the Meet.

Silkstone, Blighty!
Well up for some pig action! An early start on a cold winters' morn to start a fire and commence pig cooking sounds like a good way to get rid of the hangover!

I think charcoal is an excellent idea, I'll source a bag myself too. What shall we bring along to go with it? Is it cater for yourself buns/cobs wise or will we get a job lot in? Relish, sauce, root vegetables, etc?

Just a quick note ......

Netto are selling 5kg bags of charcoal for £1.99

(Don't know if that's cheap or not.)

Looks like there's enough interest for the spit roast pig so we better get a list together so Bernie can work out the cost per person

As usual, cut and paste yourself into each list
