I've had loads of different jobs over the years, and I am finally heading towards a job that i think i can do and enjoy until i retire. I wanted a Job thats outdoors, physical to help stay in shape and relatively stress free and still fairly challenging.
If you don't want to earn loads of cash but get a rewarding experience look at working for the Forestry Commision. Of course it's not going to be perfect and what is?

look at the details of Forest Crafts Person, not at all bad.

Just an idea.........

You have said you want a job; you didnt say your interests or qualifications.

Do you have a good professional (and interesting) CV?

what are your worksearch stategies?

Very few people here are empolyers...you need to ask the right folk

If you can get CRB checked try working for the residential care providers for adults with learning disability (such as Mencap) in your area - not a glam job but very rewarding.

As pointed out... I didnt put on any skills etc...

Uni grad in Geog, last job was newt surveying for an environmental consultants.. Was fun, but a short contract.
Starting studies again in 3months... so it's only short term, not really fussed as to the job, not squemish.

Considered the forces for a while current girlyfriend aint to keen though. I have Wwoofed, and found it a dissappointing experience. Ideally need something that pays and Wwoof (to my best knowledge) doesn't/

Cheers guys and gals.

Matt

Have you been to college or in training? what are you looking for?
Be prepaired to work in a call centre part time whislt getting where you want - for instance The National Trust has a pool of volunteers so if they are going to employ a person they will righlyfully first ask people who have been volunteering for years. Sometimes its a long slow climb to get where you want.

ST Athan AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You've obviously experienced the place, it's not that bad really, apart from the UFO's!

St Athan - one week Has Cem course, was sooo glade to grt back to Bruggen...;)

Oh don't say the 'B' word! Next you'll be asking if i want to go to Roermond for a Schwamar!

Wayland has the job i want (not BEING Wayland you understand) and he can probably say 'all my own work' as well!
