A couple of Rheas at Dan yr Ogof showcaves today. Not overly impressed with the photos I got of them, but they wouldn't stay still and it had just started to rain heavily.

No way. That’s a brilliant picture. Funny that they can’t go down trees. Only up. They have to fly down to the next tree to go up. Lovely little dickies.

Not a great picture, but it's a very pretty wasp nest in a Blue Spruce. In fact, a Bald-Faced Hornet's nest. I like the way the blue of the leaves and russet of the bark has translated.

Perhaps not a particularly interesting picture but this is the source of the River Wye on Pumlumon Fawr / Plynlimon in the Cambrian Mountains. The source is about 1.2KM eastish of the peak Pen Pumlumon Fawr. Not so much poo in it at this stage.
