Got one from the car boot; was told it was 12v.

A friend expressed doubts; if it was a truck microwave. they said, it would be 24v.

Looked on the back and guess what? 24v.

What do I do now? Get a lorry to put it in?
 
Is 240 watts enough?

Van used to run a 650W through an inverter and it was pretty hopeless. I don't pretend to understand how it did it as it was the first thing that went. Maybe it only worked with hookup.

240W isn't anything really, most microwaves are 900W or more.
