Made a little set of Ammonite paper weights the other day. Essentially just mucking about with some tooling and the power hammer.

I've been meaning to make these for quite a while but never seemed to get around to it but finally devoted some time to the tooling.
They are brilliant. you could sell those easy. I would send the pictures to all those fossil shops on the jurrasic coast. Lyme regis had loads of them when I was last there. DD xxx

Not seen this style of paperweight before, very nice, reminds me very much of Katy Ventress's work of which I have several pieces.

I enjoy Katy's work. She is immensely talented.

That looks lame to my eyes but I bet they sell like hot cakes

You would have thought so eh. I've sold a few but not as many as I'd have liked. I thought they'd be quite popular.

Been using my rasp on my hiking staff so that it will fit the Cold Steel Bushmans Bowie.
Blade is not permanently attached; can be put on and taken off.

Been doing some more rasping, preparing for next zulu-war. Length of shaft 70cm.

A daughter gave me this terra cotta bread crock. It keeps going right!

Edited to add:
That’s going to be one hell of a butty in the middle!

I kind of cleaned a very old and abused original Swiss Army knife (I think a Soldatenmesser 1908, stamped 1938) and replaced the broken/rotten scales with walnut ones made from bits of an old rotting stock. Very appropriately glued with rifle bedding compound shaded to the right colour, then filed (im)perfectly to shape and treated with my magic recipe.
