I'm Simon and just happened across the forum as I'm looking at adding some over nights to my interest in hiking. I'm living in the north west near Manchester, but I spent a lot of my youth in Wicklow working on a farm. The outdoors has always made me feel alive. My heart now belongs in the Western Highlands of Scotland. I'm actually planning my first multi day hike along the Affric kintail way next year and am very excited about it! Hopefully I can find some great ideas/advice here!
