Lords Wood meet and photo’s October 22~24 2021

Welcome to Lords Wood 2001
​

This meet i thought we would resume clearing and brash burning. But Instead of processing all the timber, we will keep the more useable pieces from the clearance. Over this and the coming meets we will utilise them to build a natural shelter complete with a raised platform to sleep on.
We can also include a firepit with windbreaks / reflector, it will be a great ongoing project for both new and experienced bushcrafters to get involved in. So, to this end bring your tools and anything else you feel may contribute.
Once finished we will keep it and will be available on a first come basis to those wanting to experience staying in a natural shelter. who knows we may decide to build more!

Just over a week to go looking forward to this! I plan to take down that big old dead birch on the edge of the clearing, log and split that for the communal fire, it will burn well! all help welcome. Don't forget to bring in any excess items for the car boot too.
