A few weeks ago I was camping out at loch Moy with a pal. It was a great opportunity to test a lot of my historic kit as I'm researching and developing more Pictish living history gear. I'm not happy with everything, but it's early days and a good start to seeing what works and what needs improved. I had a mish mash of stuff as I wasn't going for authenticity, just function
My tarp we only finished making the night before, and Beezers hadn't Ben put he'd either so it was the first time working out how to pitch our tarps together to make a good camp.
I've been testing out Pictish shoes I'm developing, as well as some water bottles, cooking pans, my nettle clothing, and other nic nacs. Onwards and upwards
