Bushcrafter through and through
My take on a leather bush hat. Of course I couldn't resist some pictish spirals, but only on the rim and top so they are not obvious when looking at the hat straight on :). Made from cowskin and goatskin, and lined with pigskin, with bronze wire stitched into the rim.

Liking that a lot, Hamish, looks to be a damn sight better made than some of the Aussie offerings. That’s a superb piece on antler on the band!
 
I've worn leather aussie hats for most of my life - that does look well made, very well made.

A word about fitting - the leather stretches and gives quite a bit when wet, which can be from sweat or rain. So a proper fit is quite a tight fit.
