It's not large, made worse by the way the pockets work - they occupy the internal space rather than bulging 'out' if you follow me. Saying that as long as you don't overstuff any of the pockets the organisation stays useful.
Comfort wise it's great. It's leagues better than my other bags. I have a Highlander 88l (which sucks over about 15kg) and I have a Golite pinnacle UL bag (60l?) (which sucks at over about 12kg).
For the trizip I ended up buying some Molle pouches to give me a little more capacity. The suspension system is super comfortable for as much weight as I managed to get on my back. I like that the waist strap is removable.
I'm pretty sure I have some photos. I can get everything inside apart from my roll mat, which I attach as below.
Thats' about the most I can squeeze in. The dry bags are: Rab 400 bag (bottom), DD 3x3 tarp (middle left), WBBB hammock (middle right), cook kit (top).
I think I could do a summer overnighter (namely smaller tarp and no extra clothing) with just the bag but I like my comfort too much, and often take a camera and lenses with me now so the extra space the molle pouches bring is welcome: The camera along with my insulation and clothing stays inside, the tarp and cooking gear goes in the outside pouches.
There are merits of every system. I'm not a one bag guy, and as soon as it starts getting colder (and for longer trips) I always go back to the no-organisation 'one massive tube pocket' bergen. I hate rummaging round for something in a massive pack but I hate a tight squeeze even more.
