Came across this website today, not sure if it's already been mentioned on here but I thought it was great. The whole UK in 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 OS mapping.

Initially it seems it only has national park maps but once you load one of them up you can scroll between scales and see the whole country.

Only useful as a planning tool of course, but what a way to check out an area without having to buy a paper map first.

I've seen similar on other websites - there was a cycling one but I can't remember the address. BING maps have the option of having an OS overlay [along with satellite etc], maybe even google maps have this also [but I can't find the button]?

I have been wondering if anywhere lets you download it [but of course they don't - unfortunate as it would be very handy for offline use].
