I'd love to be able to get hold of some of the old fashioned down-proof cotton cambric fabric that they used to use, to make a quilt. I don't like the feel of nylon and I'd willingly take the extra bit of weight.
I have a Daimor Morlich. Much newer (though still 20 years old) and was really ahead of its game with pertex, free outer material to reduce stitch-through cold spots and a decent synthetic fill. Still use it now as my bushy bag.
Such a shame that a decent british manufactuter went under!
