Hi everyone.

I'm a 34 year old dad of two boys (4 and 7) from Swindon.
I spent a lot of time in my younger years hiking, mountain biking and camping, but lost my way when I discovered beer and girls.
Have been getting into all things bushcrafty for the last couple of years, and now my boys are growing up I've been getting them and my wife (occasionally) involved as well.
(I took my eldest for his first wild camp on Dartmoor for 2 nights in April).

Looking forward to chatting with you all into the future. And sorry in advance for any newbie questions that come up that you all got bored of answering years ago.

Seriously though, you are in a good spot for a lot of outdoors (except the sea). I spent quite a lot of time paddling up and down the upper reaches of the Thames with my mates and mucking about in local woods like Badbury Clump, Water Eaton Copse and of course days out in Savernake or heading north into the Cotswolds
