Looking for gun oil that dries

Does anybody know of a gun oil that dries, I'm currently using Napier on my axes but it never really cures and goes off.

Any suggestions?

You tried Ballistol oil, that seems to dry, well my guns don't feel oily after using them.

Essox dries too - it has some sort of volatile solvent

I use ballistol on the knives I make. It's nice stuff.

Not an oil, but a dry film that bonds to your firearms etc. and forms a rust barrier, extremely effective and highly recommended, the only drawback is the strong odour if your gun cabinet is not in a suitable place in your house.

I use a tuf-cloth on all my knives and it seems to work well. It does have a very strong smell though as mentioned, not to be used on any food prep blades but great for axes.

BALLISTOL all the way its great stuff and dries over time and is food safe,it can be used on leather, and is good for your skin
