Matt has been teaching Science for 12 years working as a teacher, outdoor education coordinator and head of department. During this time he has consulted for Southampton University as well as privately for other schools and also worked as a mentor and coach for colleagues and staff.
Matt has had a love of the outdoors all of his life and his spare time is spent enjoying bushcraft, hiking, canoeing and cycling. Matt has worked closely with BushcraftUK since 2003 as staff on the forums and at events as well as admin for the website.
Matt has recently qualified as a Wilderness Expedition Medical Technician with WEMSI to better prepare him when working with groups both in the UK and abroad.
