Here at BushcraftUK we’re excited to be using Merthr Mawr again… but not just for the SummerMoot, this year we’re also going to be running a WinterMoot and the very first CraftMoot.

The CraftMoot will be a week long fully catered event where each day gives you the chance to experience and learn a different craft.

This year’s crafts will be:

  • Stool/simple chair making
  • Ash Lathe Basket making
  • Leatherwork
  • Ceramics and pottery
  • Wood carving – spoons & wood spirits

At the end of the week you will leave with your creations. To allow everyone to focus on each day, the event will be fully catered, providing all meals and refreshments during the event.

This will be a camping event and you will need to provide your own shelter and sleeping provision.
