Hey guys , has anyone one of you have ever made a leather zippo pouch ? I want to make one and want some advices (size , wet forming , pattern etc.)

Yep I saw that yesterday , now I know how to make wet mould of the pouch , how should I make the belt loop? I think I can think of something better than this guy did

you could do a couple of different ways, one of the easiest would be to sew 2 back panels on and then run the belt between them. To accomplish this the 2nd back panel would need to have a little give so a lighter leather could be used. When i did my last on i sewed a pice of leather a bit like a teacup handle if that makes sense, it was a bit of a pain but then i was using pretty thick leather that i had to skive heavily.

as long as it works though it doesnt really matter, it might be a good idea to know a few out and experiment with different ways.

Just two vertical slits in the one back panel works too. Means the lighter will rest against the belt but no real harm in that.

I have this idea , what if I put leather over the zippo put it in durable plastic bag , put vacuum cleaner in , tape the bag on the vacuum cleaner and turn it on , will it work ? 🤔

It won't work, the plastic bag will suck itself around whatever is in it but won't force the leather onto the lighter.
Vacuum cleaners also get verrrry hot if they are left running without air being drawn through. Bear this in mind if you should decide to give it a go.
