Anyone know where I can get the metal clips from for the Zebra Billy's?

I think the only people who make them is firebox, don't think they sell them separately but when we placed a large order they were kind enough to put some extras in. That was a year or two ago so there might be other people making them now.

I don't think there is anywhere in the UK that does them.

If you want I can post some steel cable and come copper tube inserts, natural spring in the cable holds the wire upright but it will bend down when you pack it.

Just found that the bushcraft store supply the billy's with the metal clips, maybe they would sell them separately

Yeah I seen that. They are also loaning me a knife for a review so may be worth an ask. Thanks is for that.

If you cant get any, make some yourself from a wire coat hanger wire, plenty of tutorials on YouTube, that’s where I got my design from. Took all of 5 mins to make.

If you are interested in making your own, I posted a copy of the best instructional video I found in a 2019 thread on this site (titled 'Zebra Billy Pot Clips'). Might be worth a look if you fancy (or are forced down) the DIY route.

I made myself a bail handle for my billy using a piece of wire brake cable from a push bike with a couple of the metal bits from an electric wire connector block thing.

Does anybody have a spare set of these clips hanging around I can buy from them or have time to knock me a couple up? It would be much appreciated.
