I know it's not really about Bushcraft per se, but it's interesting to what equipment and just the huge number of people taking an interest in the great outdoors. Any way found it on BBCiPlayer here's a link to it, hope it works.

It was a great programme, first shown last year IIRC. I have many fond memories of Idwal Cottage YH and being kicked out at 10:00 regardless of weather. Many a wet day you would find the old Roman bridge which is under the more modern one giving shelter to groups of us only leaving its shelter to get hot tea from the little shack on the road side nearby ...happy days

As a kid in the 80s i remember visiting English + Welsh Hostels. In Scotland some of the remote Hostels have vanished over the years.

just finished watching this.
brought back memories of my first secondary school trip to the peak district where we stayed in hartington hall.
the highlight of the film was the guy with the guitar flashing his sweaty pits when he took his jumper off lol
