I attended a gathering for cooking and eating meat cooked in a hole in the ground, don´t know what it is called in english. Took some 6 hours or perhaps more to get it cooked. Well meanwhile a few pints went down the hatch.

Careful :)

My daughter used to be very arachnophobic. They put a programme about arachnophobia on TV. They would have known that arachnophobes would watch it but the stupid twonks opened the programme with a sudden full screen shot of a spider. Two feet across on our TV!!!!!

My daughter ended up hyperventilating behind the sofa. All power to her she watched the rest of the programme.

I know of it as a Hangi. I believe that's a Maori word, but well, Brits, y'know.... we pick up words from all over the world.
