I know of it as a Hangi. I believe that's a Maori word, but well, Brits, y'know.... we pick up words from all over the world.

To me it’ll always be an ‘umu’, from time in Tonga and the Cook Islands. Truly paradise

First bit of whittling I've done for months, just not felt like it until the last week or so.

All carved in Hazel from the garden with my trusty SAK Hiker, for a sense of scale the pegs in the bottom of the flowers and mushrooms are matches.
