Hi All,
The forest next door to me is covered in wild garlic, hollowroot and yellow wood anenome...absolutely gorgeous. My question is about the anenome and whether it's good eating. I have looked online but I just keep getting info the 'Wood Anenome' (white in colour) as opposed to my yellow variety.

Any thoughts?

Could be yellow anemone Anemone ranunculoides. I would have thought it would contain toxin ranunculin as with other anemone species.

Are you sure it's an anemone ? I'm asking because my bright yellow lesser celandines are in bloom and they're beautiful :)
And, you can eat their peanut shaped roots too :)
