Ive got one dated 1945 as well but i am keeping it for a baccy tin.....i got it from a small military shop in wolverhampton i could find out if they have anymore if you like.

Hi PH5172,

During WWII my Grand-dad used a tabacco tin as it stayed shut better, maybe not much help but I thought I'd say, I recon it's where my bushcrafty genes come from.
