to answere your question i have always called this a western style sheath, as they call this type of sheath a western style sheath in sweden and the like too, as its different to a scandie type sheath, you have too western style sheaths you have the cowboy style western and this type of western, as its more an english/ european take on a sheath of this design.

Looking good, thank's Lee. Onwards to get the blade laser etched now £10 - £20 I've been quoted, which is quite a deal for the detailing I'm having done. Let's hope all this work will be worth the price and my dad likes it.
