I use gloves at work a lot.
The best ones I've found so far are the 5.11 station grip gloves.
They're a little out of the price range, but I find them very good.

Hey, Bruce. I bought the Tegera 17 model from here:

They replaced some Tough Duck gloves I bought in the USA which were fantastic

While working the allotmont or general manual labour I prefer bare hands as much as I can get away with to thicken the skin, so I'll never be without gloves in the future.

In the woods if possible.
The Snickers gloves have a lot of nam-made fibre so not good for hot pots.

I use suede gloves from the local Halfords lookalike, they're 99p a pair. They could be better stitched but they last for ages if you don't use them for bricklaying or steel fab.

Hey Robin,

I've received the Tegera 17 gloves. Brilliant !
One thing, the left glove leather is stiffer than the right one. Kinda strange. Did you notice the same thing ?

Apart from that, they are VERY heat resistant and quite comfy even if size 8 was a tad small at the beginning: the hot water trick works perfectly. goodjob
