Wool trousers for small woman

No, it's not a swap being offered but a recommendation wanted.

Herself is having a problem finding real wool or wool rich trousers at a reasonable price. (Cheap!)
Small size, dark colour preferred.

I seem to recall some helpful suggestions from the ladies of this parish in response to a similar request from a member some time ago. Would be grateful for ideas.

Last time I got mine from Damart

The time before I got them from House of Bruar.

Before that I bought from M&S, and though comfortable and warm, they shredded on a sharp edge of wood

The other two pairs are going strong

While I mind though, the Danish army ladies uniform trousers are excellent if you can get hold of pair in size. You could ask Kev at Endicott's ?
