I'm fairly sure from comments here before that some people have done this, but I'm just wondering what the general opinion was. The automated response I got back was along the lines of 'we get so many people volunteering, we may never actually contact you'. Clearly they have got a lot bigger than they were when I was once a member, but my interest is because my local wood is indeed a woodland trust one and I was interested in getting involved. Am I wasting my time? Not that it matters too much if I am I guess.
