Wooden slingshots

I'm hooked on making slingshots. Material: Misc hardwood. Tools: Jig saw and hand tools. Finish: Boiled linseed oil.

Love the look of the beech laminate. Nice work have a look at the Rambone design I would love to make one myself

What do you use as an elastic for them?

They look very smart btw, I like the oak one.

I use Chinese tubes (2040 and 1745), plan to try out flat bands as well.

There is anther way to tie the tubes to the pouch.

you may use a block ball to fix the tubes like this.

They look great. I have always enjoyed using catapults, Never had a go at making one myself
