Just had to post this link to some extraordinary photography of the Northern Lights as seen from Iceland.

What an experience it must be to see them with your own eyes. Anyone been there done that and maybe wearing the T-Shirt still?

Yep, been there seen that and strangely enough i have my "Iceland" t-shirt on today, i am fortunate enough to go there two or three times a year for business, once when coming back home the pilot advised everyone on the plane that the lights were visable on the left hand side of the aircraft, people were taking turns to go and have a look - wonderful

Have attached a couple of my own pics, not of the lights unfortunately, but of the mountains around REY and one of the magnificent cathedral, which you can go to the top of and get a wonderful view of the city.
