Hi,
That's a truly lovely piece of work - I love the oak etching, if that's the right word.
I have a question though - the shoulder strap seems quite short, will it not sit high under the arm at that length?
I know women quite often carry shoulder/handbags which sit high under their arms but they're often tiny (and practically useless!) whereas your superb satchel is a decent size for actually putting stuff in!
I'm just curious and, as I say, superb job - wish I was that skilled

Really enjoyed this project so far. Feel I've put more effort in as it isn't for me!

Just the edges to finish now and to dye it.

The strap length is very short, shorter than I expected but it is the way she wanted. As a compromise I made the strap detachable so if at any point she feels it is too short I can put a new one on.
